Wren Plant Pot Ornament

This adorable little wren has been made by hand using a 3D Pen and PLA filament. A sketch of the bird was covered in plastic and then filled in with the melted filament. Areas can be built up to create a sculptural effect and the wings were added separately. The sculptural and painted details have been applied to both sides.

The bamboo stick was incorporated into the bird as I began drawing. The measurement from the tip of the wren's tail to the bottom of the stick is 23cm.

Stick this ornament into your plant pots for some rustic, wren charm. The PLA is best suited for indoor use but it would probably survive a good two years out in the garden.

My little wren would make a lovely gift as they're sent out wrapped in cellophane (eco) with a rustic jute bow.

In the UK I only use postage with tracking now and Royal Mail Tracked 48 costs £3.65. I live in a rural area and I can't always get to the Post Office so I use their home collection service which is 30p.
