Floral Wall Sculpture

This beautiful sculpture features wildflowers which have been created with a 3D pen and PLA filament. The flowers were drawn by hand and then painted with acrylics. I added more filament to the fragile areas to create a strong, durable sculpture.
The finished piece was then attached to a cradled wood art panel which measures 50 x 20cm. I used strong, stainless steel T pins to create a 15mm shadow gap between the sculpture and the panel.
This artwork is totally unique and looks quite stunning on a wall. It has a clean contemporary look but it would also work in a more traditional style home.
