Flying Curlews Wall Hanging

The curlews have been created with a 3d pen and TPU flexible filament. This unique artwork looks like a delicate piece of lace but the rubber-like filament is incredibly strong and durable. Drawing with a 3d pen is literally drawing with plastic and each one is executed entirely by hand.

The artwork has been attached to a length of wooden dowel and measures 61cm in height and the width is 42cm.

I've recently started using a TPU filament which is made from 100% recycled material which comes from footwear industry waste.
How cool to have an artwork made from parts of a pair of trainers!

The wall hanging will only be effective against a light coloured, plain wall. It is incredibly light in weight which makes it very easy to hang.
