Honeysuckle Face

This is a drawing created with a 3D pen and flexible TPU filament. The first layer of the drawing is made up of interconnecting links of clear filament which is barely visible against a light coloured wall. For the second layer, I've used a black filament to draw part of a beautiful face framed by honeysuckle. The touches of colour in the flowers were created with acrylic paint.

Working with a 3D pen is literally drawing with plastic.

This unique artwork looks quite delicate but the TPU filament is very strong and durable and hangs beautifully from the wooden dowel which measures 32cm.

I'm using a TPU filament which is made from 100% recycled material which comes from footwear industry waste.

The wall hanging will only be effective against a light coloured, plain wall and as it is incredibly light in weight, it is very easy to hang.
