Blackbird Wall Hanging

This small wall hanging featuring a handsome blackbird with berries was created with a 3d pen and flexible TPU filament. Drawing with a 3d pen is literally drawing with a rubber-like plastic.

I've recently discovered a new TPU filament which is made from the footwear industry waste. I love making art from waste materials.

I've filled in the berries with red filament and the flower petals are white with green centres.

The artwork hangs beautifully from a piece of wooden dowel which measures 28cm. From top to bottom it measures 23cm.
