Hoop With Pheasant

This beautiful pheasant was painted on a piece of lutradur fabric. I then drew over the painting with a 3D pen with PLA filament on both sides to create rigidity and a structural frame. The excess fabric was cut and burnt away and I stitched all around the pheasant to make sure the filament doesn't separate from the fabric. The artwork was then secured to a 20cm metal hoop. With the bird the piece measures 27cm in width and 24cm in height.

This hoop would look lovely on a plain, light coloured wall. It would make a lovely gift for someone who appreciates birds/wildlife and the natural world around us.

As the pheasant is hand painted and the filament is also added by hand, each one of these designs will all be slightly different.
